Associations and Clubs

Special Faculty Alumni Association Business education like any other business activity is impossible without a network of corporate links, which are uniting the government, research work, plants, students, both past and present. The oldest faculty, Management and Finance, is permeated by a specific psychological climate and a system of common values which encourage the people, create positive working atmosphere, in a word disseminate the spirit of the organisation. The Alumni Association, created in 1993 is that foundation stone which cements and inspires the corporate unity of the faculty. The association members alumni, today's students and teachers on a voluntary basis and is aimed at bringing together all the former students for experience sharing and successful adaptation of the professionals to new market conditions. Its major directions go along the following lines:

• selecting and forming up the academic groups,
• diagnostic testing of the applicants,
• organising regular meetings with former students,
• assisting in placement and career promotion,
• running the updating workshops in current management issues.

Another characteristic feature of the association is the opportunity for searching the business partners and commercial proposals thanks to a database created on the faculty. Association is directed by an elected Council, headed by President.

Personnel Directors' Club

PDC was initiated by RMC PSTU in 1997 and presents an informal association of personnel directors from industrial enterprises of West Urals Region. It was created for development and implementation of a unified staff policy, and is convened from one to three times a month to discuss current and topical problems. PDC approved of Perm Corporate University and suggested that a human resources faculty be created there. The Club activity is closely linked with Regional Administration Labour Department.
